In 2009, Kevin co-founded Efficium with his brother Kurt Grosvenor, focused on helping industrial clients reduce utility, operating, and maintenance costs through energy efficiency, power quality, water treatment, and renewable energy solutions. His work has included the development of anaerobic digestion, renewable natural gas, wastewater treatment, and other resource recovery projects for Fortune 100 companies and major industrial organizations.
In 1992, Kevin acquired Executive Technologies and expanded the business to four locations, building it into one of Iowa’s leading business technology providers.
Today, Kevin is a Co-founder and CEO of Bio-Ngredients, where he leads the development of industrial-scale Black Soldier Fly bioconversion platforms. His work has included feedstock development, university-led feeding trials, process validation, commercialization strategies, and the structuring of large-scale projects focused on converting agricultural and food-processing byproducts into sustainable protein, insect oil, and organic fertilizer. He works closely with strategic partners, technology providers, and industrial stakeholders to bring financeable circular economy projects to market in North America and Asia.
Kevin attended the University of Nebraska and the University of South Dakota.
Bill’s background includes all aspects of accounting and finance, corporate accounting, regulatory compliance and financial reporting. He has an extensive track record of successful projects including the acquisitions, system conversions and a long history in the renewable energy field including compressed natural gas, hydrogen, wind energy and solar projects. He developed multiple anaerobic digester facilities converting animal waste to renewable natural gas. Bill manages the company’s finances, including debt/equity, fund raising, gas offtake agreements, legal, insurance, financial planning and reporting, and management of financial risks. Bill has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from John Carroll University.
Kurt has spent over 30 years as a ‘serial’ entrepreneur, specializing in startups, new business development, new product development, direct sales, sales channel management, marketing, trade shows and management experience dedicated to achieving profitability and delivering outstanding value to customers. Kurt sells conditioned fibers, sources new feedstock agreements and manages marketing, including strategic planning, finance, and customer service. He has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Iowa State University.
Cuneyt performed major projects with full P&L responsibility and leadership of all activities related to the execution of capital investments starting from business modelling and planning. Have a proven track record of delivering major projects on schedule and within budget. Contracted and managed high budget projects totaling 32.8M man-hours in 50+ Projects. Areas of expertise include renewable natural gas, waste to value, mining & metallurgy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation infrastructure, utilities, glass, cement, gypsum production, as well as biotechnology and food & beverage industries.
Yoav is an experienced engineer, project manager and project developer in the fields of insect protein and waste management. In the last 3 years Yoav has worked in the insect protein industry in the USA, Europe, Africa, Australia and the middle east, including being the head project manager of one of the leading insect protein production plant in the world. Yoav also have more than 8 years of experience in waste management specializing in organic waste to energy , this includes project management of a $50 million waste to energy project. Yoav holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering and a M.Sc. in sustainable energy engineering.
